M.Sc Robotics and AI
I am currently an MSc Robotics and AI student at the University of Glasgow. Prior to this, I attended Osaka University for MS in system science and applied informatics. Before this, I graduated from IIT Ropar and received the institute merit certificate for obtaining class rank 1. In my free time, I prefer to read novels, listen to music, swim, or go on hiking trips.
Research Interests
My research interest is in social robotics, specifically cognitive developmental robotics. I am curious about the development of an emotional expression system for both verbal and non-verbal communication. My approach to this problem is an embodied learning approach, in which language and gesture scaffold each other during the developmental phase. Currently, I am closely following cognitive architecture ACT-R, RL agent Agent-57 by deepmind and the book ”From Babies to Robots”- Angelo Cangelosi, Matthew Schlesinger.
